My husbands 91 year old grandmother just moved from Arkansas to live with us. She just could not safely live by herself anymore along with being so lonely.

She is used to going to a beauty parlor once a week to have her hair washed and styled. Can anyone recommend a salon that handle a lot of older adults? She is legally blind and very weak so I need to find someone that is very patient and caring.

Thank you

If you'd like, I'll ask in my moms group. I think some of them have parents they are caring for.

It's not in Round Rock, but Georgetown, but Jacque's Salon has a great many clients from Sun City and might be worth a call.

Also not in RR, but in Pflugerville. . . It's All About You Too in the Heatherwilde Apartments. It's the salon for the apartment community (seniors), but she takes outside clients too. My mom went to her; Jackie is the lady that does hair there. It is hard to find someone who will do the old-fashioned stuff!

Thank you TexasHorse Lady and Salgal. I'll try those out. They may be too far of a drive for her but I want her to feel comfortable at the salon.
