Forbes and MSN Money etc can be good contrarian indicators. Many stock traders have openly advocated using them (also: Businessweek, Times, Newsweek, CNBC, ... etc) as Buy/Sell/Short signals ... when they hype a company, the traders would short the stock; and when they bash a company, the traders would accumulate the stock - i.e. trade against the direction/tone of the magazines.

Well, if they are good contrary indicators, imagine what that means if they are pumping up Austin...
