Default Traffic to airport from Cedar Park
My husband and I are considering moving to the Cedar Park area and I would like to know how long the commute is to the airport. Is it easier/faster to take 45 to 130 or stay on 183? Does 45 get backed up?

It depends on what part of Cedar Park you are talking about. We live near Lakeline mall and it takes us about 45 minutes to get to the airport. We usually just go down 183 if we are going in the early morning or coming back after rush hour traffic. If it is during rush hour traffic we go 45 to 130. Those are the toll roads and I have never seen any traffic on the toll roads. The toll road route may be a little longer than the straight shot down 183.

I live in North Austin near the Arboretum. I take 183 to the airport once or twice a week and have NEVER had a problem at any hour of the day.

Agreed, from the arboretum area, 183 to the airport is extremely consistent even during rush hour. It is about 17 minutes to the airport almost no matter what. The only time I had a problem was when there was an accident where it joins with 71.

I live near 1431 & Parmer and it takes 30 minutes. Route is Parmer to 1 to 183. I avoid going to the airport during rush hour.
