I would never live in FL. Too flat, hot and humid.

I'd pick Austin. Great mild weather much of the year, pretty dry, and hills!!!

Some people love 100 degree weather.

If you need "perfect" weather, go to southern CA and be ready to pay for it, so as I've heard.

Its one thing to be 100 degrees but can you imagine that kinda temp for basically whats known as summer with stiffleing thick not without that muggy odour weather?
The reason I ask is the basic mortality rate given to humanity is not programmed to
excel in this stuff. Even if you stay indoors you loose on the great outdoor activity and fresh air
So for me ....(ans ?) Its gonna have to be CA, somewhere or perhaps Colorado, as my measuring stick starts with time spent outdoors.

Life for me is better around family and friends, Its to hard to start all over and when you do you still miss your family and friends. Austin is ok but its not home with family and friends. I think I am just tired of starting all over and never knowing who to trust. Not that you want to hear this but stay close to family if you like them.

I just moved from Temecula to Austin in June. When I left Temecula was horrible, and looked like the great depression. When I moved there in the late 90s it was a pretty small city, and then they started building like crazy.

There is no culture in the city at all, and would never raise a family there for any reason. The only jobs are in San Diego, and Los Angeles for the most part so you have to commute for an hour, and by doing so probably won't have time for your kids which isn't a good family situation.

My family is in Oregon, and California, but with the amount of money I save living in Texas I can go on 20 vacations a year.

So far I plan to stay in Texas, and raise a family here down the road.
