Default allergy or bug?

Allergies or a bug? Is there some kind of bug going around? School started and every disease known to man is now coming home. Or it's allergies? I don't know. I didn't have this for the last two months so I'm wondering if it's a bug. Doesn't hurt to ask...

My husband's horrible allergies used to kick in right about now and for about 2 months he was M-I-S-E-R-A-B-L-E. He made me move after 12 years in TX. He doesn't have allergies anymore.

It's ragweed - i.e. hayfever. Just got my 3 month supply of Singulair and Flonase. Mold is also very high. Lots
of fun.

Here's tomorrow's allergy forecast:

Mold has been bad for the last couple of months (or so my wife's dr. told her).

I'm feeling really miserable right now too. I took a Claritin at about 4am, did a shot of Flonase and even had to take a few tylenol for sinus pain. It's allergies, they are just really bad right now.

If I may make a suggestion: take your meds at night before you go to bed. When you wake up, they will be at full dosage. Someone on this board recommended this and it's really made a difference for me. Also, try taking a multi-vitamin. Helps me a lot.

If you are getting nasal drainage down the back of your throat its probably allergies. Cold infections usually cause a runny nose, out the front.

My allergies have been bad this year, worst that I have had in years. August/Sept and Dec/Jan are usually my worst months. I got a sinus infection 2 weeks ago, something I have not had in ages, from too much congestion related to allergies. I'm still recovering from it.
