Celebrity's houses in Austin (Georgetown, Alba: to buy, live in, eat)

I'm just curious where celebrities who live in Austin live. I know whre Lance Armstrong's house is. Does anyone know where (or if they even live here) these celebs houses are?

Just remember, one of the reasons that celebrities tend to buy in Austin once they've filmed here (besides the usual "come to Austin, then you don't want to leave" syndrome that happens to people) is that Austinites could care less that they're celebrities and consider them just "Sandy", say, and treat them like anybody else.

So don't spoil it for them, okay?

I've been to one of Sandra Bullock's places - Bessie - for lunch. Haven't checked out the new place, Walton's? I think it's pretty cool that she's investing in Austin.

You said the exact same thing in the other thread about Jessica Alba. We get it. And you're right, we don't give a damn that they're celebrities.

Yep, I did (though not in exactly the same words, I don't believe). Not everyone reads all the threads, after all, and the concept is appropriate to both.

I love how we pontificate as if we are "bastions" of "truth"......as if, when words appear, all is complete.....Austin wants to have its cake and eat the same as well........this city LIVES on appearances on top ten lists......prides itself on how "special" it is, while, ironically, displaying egocentrism that would not be out-of-place in LA, the hub of celebrity "sitings".......on the contrary, Austin is staved for the recognition that celebrity brings to the city.....there is such a thing as "ironic fandom", in that one prides oneself in not fawning over a star, which is just as starstruck as fawning itself.......
rest assured, if a celebrity appeared in Austin, plenty of folks would turn, stare, and fawn, and the ones that did not would pride themselves for the same, just an inverted fawning is all.....

I believe Phil Collins may have a home here as well. I wouldn't go looking for celebrities, it's just of interest to know that they chose this city.
