Circle C Range or Shadowglen in Manor Texas
I have found two homes that I believe will work for my family and I, one is in the newer section of Circle C Ranch and the other is in Shadowglen subdivision. Is Manor going to be to far from downtown. Is that metrorail ever going to open? What type of daycares are near or in Manor. Why is the circle C range area so popular?

Hmm...I have a co-worker that lived in Shadowglen, or at least I am pretty sure that is the neighborhood he lived in in Manor. When gas prices were high, it was killing him (granted, he worked more on the west side, off MoPac), so he decided to sell and move more westerward. Prices had dropped out there significantly in the couple years he had been there, and I think the original developer had put all their holdings up for sale. There were quite a few empty houses, too, and a number of foreclosures. I have not been out there, but it did not sound good. I could have the wrong neighborhood, though, so check for yourself, if you have not already.
Circle C Ranch....is that a specific part of Circle C, or just the full name of it? I am not familar with all the names of different sections. Anyway, it is really quick (most of the time) to get to downtown and even to NW Austin. It is also pretty established and close to fully built out.
As for daycares, the friend who moved from Manor was really surprised that the Primrose in West Austin that he moved his kids too was actually cheaper than the smaller business that he used in (or near) Manor. Seems that the competition in SW Austin keeps prices reasonable, but I am not sure what they are in Manor or what exact daycare he used.

There is no circle c range in Circle C Ranch as far as this resident knows. I have a feeling that was a typo. I don't know anything about Manor but we like living in Circle C. We are a 12 minute drive from downtown in off-traffic hours so we can drive up there on weekends for fun. I also like the topography of SW Austin and the prices are reasonable for being this close in to town.

This is an odd pairing. What search criteria resulted in homes in these two areas being the finalists.
Unless you're going to be working NE, I can't think of a reason to choose SG over CC.
