Default Any hayride/pumpkin patch places in Austin/surrounding areas?

I am trying to plan a birthday party in October, and would love to find someplace local that has hayrides and a pumpkin patch. Is there anywhere around (preferably south Austin) that has these fall activities?

I know back about 10-15 yrs ago there was someplace in Oak Hill (Jacks something or other) that had the haunted hayrides/etc, but I haven't seen anything in recent years that mentions them.

Or any other Halloween young kid aged activities I could do for a party? The party will be for 7 yr olds~so nothing too scary.

Thanks!

Kristen

Try Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls. That also make their own pumpkin ice cream - yum.

This one isn't in south Austin, it's in Elgin. It's run by a retired teacher and her husband. Great facilities.
Evergreen Farms Christmas Trees

Call Young Chef's Academy in south Austin, and the kids can put together an edible "spook house" (1-2 hours) Call Central Market for a cooking class to prepare a range of Halloween treats, taken away in a Halloween Trick or Treat Bag (around 2 hours).

Home or the park is fun for a party, too. Grill hot dogs or hamburgers, let them decorate a Halloween cupcake, have a Halloween scavenger hunt on the property, a pinata, run, play.
