I highly recommend autodriveaway.com. For a few hundred dollars, they will arrange to find a person to pick up your car and drive it X country. usually that person is looking to go to the same city you need your car in (for various reasons). We've used the service twice. On one occasion, we sold a Honda to my parents and had to get it from San Francisco to Chicago. We called autodriveaway, a driver picked it up from our location, and delivered it to my parents' door in perfect condition.

Their website isn't fancy but it's a really good, inexpensive service. The site should answer more of your questions. If you don't need the car the day you arrive, it's a great way to go!!!!
