Worth a listen. You can disagree with everything he says, yet still enjoy the fact that he'll say something no one else will. His national/international audience is much larger than the local one, so it might make an interesting poll on one of the other forums (like P&OC). Reduce the number of options, though. You are basically saying the same thing 6 ways. Just put love him, hate him, or indifferent.

Fear monger yes. Independent thinker, no. It seems he focuses on every loony idea out there, and then grasps onto it, which is far from independent. Independent thinkers actually think about it, and make a decision that may or may not always be predictable. He's about as predictable as it can get. I.E., if it is paranoid thinking or fear based, he believes it.

i can tell you that in the late 90's-early 2000 few locals knew who he was. klbj cancelled his show and he began to broadcast from a san antonio station. now he is back local and if you are ever around town when he is out and about, people recognize him and many approach him to talk etc. now a local recognized celeb.
seems like austin likes/listens to him

One of your options should be "Who is Alex Jones?" Also, why do you have people calling him names i.e. "obese liar" if they decided they don't like his idea? Sometimes people can disagree with ideas without resorting to ad hominem attacks.

I don't even know who Alex Jones is, but if his followers say incredibly silly things like this, I prefer to not know who he is.
