Default Where is the biggest Macy's

Looking for the biggest Macy's store in the greater Austin area? Not all Macy's were created equal.

I am not sure about the 'biggest'...but the 'upscale' Macy's would be the one in Domain.

It's fun to mess with the live models when they're on display.

I've seen the Macy's at the Domain and I did note that it looked upscale but it also looked small. I heard everything was bigger in Texas so I was a little underwhelmed. If I don't get any other responses, I will go check it out.

The only Macy's I've been to here is the one at Barton Creek Mall. It is of reasonable size BUT there is a horrible stench of mildew there. I think there was a leak in the roof at some point and they haven't been able to clean it properly. The last few times I went it made me sick to my stomach.

The Macy's at Highland Mall is blah. Great for running in real quick and getting something specific (ie a particular perfume or cosmetic) but for browsing, forget it.

A clerk at the Macy's in the Domain told me that it is one of the smaller stores. I believe that the Barton Creek Macy's is the largest around here.

I'm from NY (where the flagship store is) and that Barton Square Macy's is awful. I call it Musty*s

They should really clean that place up.

Bigger is definitely not better when it comes to Macy's in this town. The best one in my opinion is at the Domain. Yes, it's the smallest but at least it's not filled with tons of junk. The next best one is at Lakeline. I have never been to the Hill Country Galleria so not sure if there is one there. That would be worth checking out.

LOL..I'm originally from NYC myself and when I saw the title of the post I immediately answered to myself "The biggest Macy's is in NYC". Anything else is a small offshoot.
