Haven't been there yet - been meaning to try it out even though we get bombarded by flyers in the door almost weekly. The yogurt place next door is awesome though!

I second Bo Asian Bistro. After being spoiled by Qin Dynasty (the BEST Chinese food I've ever had!) in Houston, Bo Asian is the only one that is semi-close.

Golden Wok (Parmer/35) is Zagat-rated and has dim sum.

Also, in that area, you can also go to the new Chinatown plaza at Braker/Lamar which is very authentic.

Travel a bit farther off 183/McNeil for some authentic tasting Chinese food at Asia Market. A market right next to their restaurant.
Amazing. I grew up in Taiwan and this place makes me feel like home. Reminds of me of my grandma and step-mom's cooking.

Chinatown Restaurants has the best dim sum(beats out a lot of bay area places)! My family of 2 and half(5 yr old) easily ate $78 for lunch one day.

Asia Cafe next to Asia Market is definitely great Chinese food. The caveat though is that you should stick to the Sichuan offerings. The Americanized stuff is only so-so.

I only ate there once and found that food terrible. It was all overcooked! I haven't returned since.

I too am yet to find any good Chinese food out here. It's so much better in California.
