Default Shady Oak Subdivision in Georgetown TX

Hi...my husband and I are moving from Las Vegas (thank God) to Georgetown TX next month. We are both from the south and can't wait to get back there. We have leased a nice home in Shady Oaks. Does anyone know anything about Georgetown or Shady Oaks that you could share with me? We do not have any kids at home so we don't have to be concerned about schools. Anything and everything you could tell me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We moved to Georgetown two years ago after 14 years in Vegas. I was so happy to get out of there! Moving here has been the best decision I think I ever made. Pretty much everything is better here.
What would you like to know about Georgetown? I don't know Shady Oaks off the top of my head but Georgetown is pretty great!

I'm also interested in Georgetown!!! In my research I've found that it's a wonderful little town close to all the city things a person could want! I found the most gorgeous home there and I still can't get over the price.

I'd love to hear more about it from people who live there!!!

Georgetown is a great little town with a wonderful private University. I would love to live there. Unfortunately, I work at UT, so the commute would be prohibitive (IMHO). I know lots of people that make the commute everyday, but I would not want to be one of them!
