Hello, I am looking for the most resort/spa like apt. I can find. I would like a view and don't want tons of traffic. I telecommute so I don't have to leave but I still don't want to fight traffic to get to the stores. I want as much privacy as I can get in an apt! LOL

I tried those apt. finders and they each want all this info and then only show a few places or no pics. I figured I would try to get some suggestions here.

Thank you in advance

What do you want views of? Hills? Lake? Downtown?

If you want some privacy, I suggest renting a small house or duplex instead of getting into one of the apartment complexes. Check out the listings on craigslist.

The Mansions in Steiner Ranch has some really nice views of Lake Travis, and they are townhome style apartments, so you get attached garage on some, and two floors. There is a Day Spa on site, but tenants get to use the work out room, and indoor pool, or a nice outdoor pool as well. Massages, other services are extra. It would take about 8 minutes to get to an HEB, or about 8 minutes to get to the neighborhood located market. The Domain is going in about 20-30 minutes away, depending on time of day.

I looked at the Gables at Centerpointe?(sp), off of loop 360. They are very nice and have amazing views of the hill country although a little pricey.

What price range? I really would like a place where the (2 car) garage is under and then you can go directly into the apt. and you have all the floors so no one is on top of you. Is that a possibility? Oh and a killer view, pool and gym Am a dreaming? LOL

I think the Mansions is a good suggestion. They have a couple of locations and are more townhouse like than apartment like. Check apartmentratings first though. Almost every complex in town has lots of negative feedback on that site.

Default Thanks

Thanks for all the suggestions from everyone. I am really excited about getting out there and looking around. I will plan a trip for may July so I can feel what a Summer is like and I will check into the suggestions.

If you want something really nice, I would check out the four seasons or one of the other very new loft/condo complexes.
