When we were looking at houses in Cinci, we instantly fell in love with the house we ended up buying. We couldn't believe it hadn't sold. It was a Sunday, and we were stressed out that we couldn't make an offer until the next day, because we were afraid someone would snatch it.

Now that's love...LOL!
And we were very happy in that house.

So, I hope that happens again. Based on all the homes I've seen online, I have to believe it will.

Our agent is already planning to spend several days with us when the time comes, so I think it will be great.

I just want to make sure I know as much as possible before hand, in case there are areas we absolutely want to avoid, then we won't be wasting precious time when we get there.

Hahahaha! I looked at it ... and I sure hope the owner of it doesn't post here, because I'm about to hurt their feelings. WHAT SLOBS!

I'm sweating right now from the feverish floor-scrubbing for today's showing, and then I see that!

I've heard stories about a realtor showing where a troop of agents is checking out a house that's new on the market, and the guy is still in bed; just pulls the covers over his head and stays there.

AT one showing, we had the guy come out of the shower in a towel. Put on a bathing suit and go into the backyard withthe dogs.

Dishes in the sink. Laundry baskets all over the place. Kid's rooms a mess. Very hard to walk anywhere. Place smelled of wet dogs, masked by heavy incense. Made your eyes burn.

The statistics of the place met our match 100%. Had a pool & a nice yard as bonus. But the presentation along with a couple of other things, caused us to drop it from the list. If they are that laid back about prepping a house for showing, what kind of maintenance did they do? The dogs were swimming in the pool. What did the dog hair do to the filter and other equipment?

You have to wonder about some people. And then they complain that the agent cannot move their house.

I have to say, I'm actually really surprised that a Realtor would even take that picture and publish it with the listing without informing them that they may want to "tidy up a bit".

Maybe that's AFTER the tidying up! Maybe that's as good as it gets. I'd love to know the story.

I bought an old freezer from some people a few years ago.
Their house was trashed and had a For Sale sign out front. They literally had a huge pile of garbage in the front yard and the garage had no siding. They were complaining about how the realtor hadn't brought them any offers. LOL!
