One thing I am missing - Hawaiian BBQ
Is there any place in Austin, or surrounding suburbs that offer the typical "Hawaiian BBQ Plate lunch"???

There's a hawaiian resturaunt near the convention center, but I don't know what the menu is like. Check out the Austin Chronicle, it may be listed there.

Hey loves roses,
If you're talking about Roy's, it isn't really Hawaiian. It's more Asian fusion, but it's very good.
I did find this cool website today:

They will cater a typical Hawaiian luau in the Austin area. Looks good to me. Maybe one day we can do a City-Data gathering and have a luau???

daisy...i would love the recipe....i've tried to figure out how the locals do it, with no avail.....someone told me they put crab in it and have a special mayo and macaroni as well. is this true?..hmmm....yummy |
