2am.

An Austin cop once told me, "There are two types of people out after 2am. The police and the people we're trying to catch."

Yea, and musicians unwinding after playing for people all night, and servers, cooks and bartenders unwinding after serving patrons all night...

I've heard that saying for years and it's always bothered me, since I've made my living at night Not everyone works 9-5!

Sorry, I'm just sensitive about that

That's right. Every one does NOT work a 9-5. I have worked the 2nd and 3rd shift (and hours in between) for jobs as a hotel clerk, waitress.......even late night child care for the people who work the late night/early morning jobs.

and the people who work the night shift?

Typical police state attitude. Guilty first, ask questions later.

I'm pretty sure it's still legal to be out in pretty much anytime, unless you're breaking laws.

Bars stay open until 4 if they cut off alcohol by 2am.

Bars outside of Austin (in the suburbs) have different regulations.

lol yup. Most police I've seen are arrogant as hell and power trip like crazy.

I always vote NO to anything that increases police funding or anything.
