Default city employees salaries online for 2010 and 2009

For those that are interested, or anyone that tracks government spending, http://www.austinsalaries.com was just updated to include 2010 data for the City of Austin.

The site only includes data for Austin, and not Georgetown or Roundrock, as it did last year. This will be fixed at some point in the near future.

The site has a few key new features:

Ability to Review the Change in Salaries Over Years
Ability to Review the Change in Employees in Austin Over 2009
Ability to Review Average Wages
Ability to Review Salary Ranks

The site has some great aggregate data, and truly is a wonderful tool for employees to leverage better salaries.

Enjoy.

note - this is not a cross post. This is a completely separate website, and a completely separate metropolitan area. While the data is similar to what is available in DFW, it is 100% relevant to the Austin forum.

The info I looked at was correct and very up-to-date. However, I wonder why Austin Energy isn't on there as they're part of the City as well.

In Texas, municipal electric companies are generally (if not all) exempt from open records act because of the competitive nature of their business. This data is current as of yesterday 4/26.
