ABA therapy/Autism centers in & near Austin
I have a 5 yo Autistic son and we are considering moving outside of Austin. Dripping Springs area possibly. I need to make sure that I won't have to drive to the other side of the city though to get him to therapy. Please tell me any and all Autism centers that offer ABA therapy. Thankyou!

You can also look into having a therapist come work with your son at home. I am an ABA therapist, but instead of having families come to a clinic I work in their homes. I am not sure how many therapists are available in Dripping springs but you could possibly get someone in austin to travel to work with your son.

Out of curiousity, what help/therapies are there for children with Asperger's? Our son was diagnosed a year ago & then reevaluated by the school district here in Austin before summer started, but at this point does not receive services even though all agreed with the initial diagnosis.
We would just love to find a way to help him cope with the noises, bright lights, etc. before he enters school this year. Unfortunately, we don't currently have health insurance so the fees have to be reasonable.

Aspire Autism Spectrum Instructional Resources
I work for Aspire and we do not have a center so we do all therapy at the child's home or school. Visit autismconsulting.org to get more information and to contact us with any questions or if interested. I believe we serve Austin and the surrounding area.

An occupational therapist can help with sensory integration difficulties, a speech-language pathologist can help with other issues related to Asperger's. Hopefully, he qualified for school services.
Good luck.
Sorry...just noticed how old this post is. No doubt you've found some answers in the past (almost) two years.
