Some loud crackin' thunder over my house, but plenty of water for my garden and lawn!

Awesome storm, but I didn't see any hail. I thought hail had been mentioned when the storm was mentioned in the news (but I tend to half listen to the news while multi-tasking).
I have heard that Austin gets some huge hail, and was hoping to see some.

Ugh! When your car gets dented you won't want to see hail ever again. Nasty stuff. But you'll likely see it at least once if you are here for a year or so...

The electrical storm tonight was really amazing. Even after the rain had stopped, the lightning was incredible. Seems like this is the second major electrical storm this year...

I was impressed by the post rain thunder and light show. I'm about to go to bed and the thunder just stopped. I look forward to seeing the rain gauge in the AM.

The last electrical storm was pretty awesome as well.

I don't own a car. But if I did, I would probably plan my day so as to have it parked under cover, during the time frame the hail was forecast.

I was thinking that maybe if it damaged the roofs, of the houses, of the people on the neighborhood architectural committee, in the area where I want to buy the house; that maybe it could sway their view in favor of durability over the lovely composite shingle look.

It is probably selfish to want anything negative to happen to anyone else, for the sake of my own benefit (or entertainment).
