**Laid Back Lifestyle with Energetic Variety!** (http://austin.craigslist.org/apa/1772600283.html - broken link)

I'm trying to find out more about this complex w/o going through the apartment finder. However, the ad doesn't say what complex this is, and i'm not all that familiar with Austin yet.

I love, love, love, love, love the layout of the apartment and would love to live there.

Dang, look at those rent prices! my brother lives in a similar (but much older) loft-like apartment in STUDIO CITY CALIFORNIA for less.

Hmmm. Comparing Studio City to Austin? I can see why the rent would be cheaper there

The "efficiency" rent is more than my mortgage payment.

If I were a university student, with a large trust fund (or wealthy parents paying my rent) I think I would live there.
But only if the apartments were well insulated for sound, meaning if I closed all my doors and windows I could not hear my neighbors or the noise from outside.

Thanks!

That's WAY outta my price range. Also one thing I don't like about craigslist. I search for apartments LESS than $800. I knew that one was probably too good to be true.

Still, I LOVE the layout.

I especially liked the 3 story townhouse layout.
I liked that it had cool stuff right there, like a weekly farmer's market.
Add a lightrail station in walking distance (within a quarter mile), that does not share that space with a loud train, cut the price by 60%, and I would be a likely tenant.
