LOL I was wondering if it was that ....but too afraid to say it
Yes in some countries it's a bit much. I don't think it's too much of a problem in the US though

Be careful in parts of Europe, the sods want to kiss you on both cheeks
And they will argue they are not gay.

That's just there custom and it doesn't make them any more gay for it. Kind of ironic it's customary the most homophobic culture at the moment (strict Islam).

Anyway, in reply to the OP's question, NZ men are kind of similar to Aussies - usually up for a good time, but maybe slightly more reserved in general?

Bit of a blanket statement I think. But Kiwis in general tend to be a bit more emotionally reticent. Maybe it's the 'dour Scots' influence?

I realise that its a bit of a BS generlization, but all in all most southern hemisphere men (saffas, aussies and kiwis) are all rather void of "sissy boy" emotion.

They are breed em tough in the these parts. It is a shame men are in general emotional pygmies from these parts and can't let go of what for all intents and purposes would be more suited for cave habiting times in the past.
A number of European women over the years have commented on this as well as how straight laced and with out passion they are. Lots of relationships saw break down.
Rather hopeless cases really..lol

it is the dour scottish influence , thier also very tight with money

i lived and worked in new zealand for a while at the very end of the nineties , i found kiwis to be a fairly hard and unforgiving bunch , they certainly dont sugar coat anything , i know aussies dont either but the aussies are more extroverted
