Australia vs. NZ, better place to live?? (wages, standard of living)

Which is a better place? In terms of jobs, housing, medical care, transportation, shopping, eating out, money, leisure activities, etc?

Such a broad question but here goes my point of view.

Australia has a better economy and with that comes higher wages and an overall better standard of living.

Each city will have its own merits in terms of housing and transportation but in general you will always have a better life if you make more money and things are cheaper. That is where NZ can't compete with Australia.

In terms of beautiful countryside however, NZ trumps. Gorgeous beaches, lakes and mountains.
