I just gave some $$$ via my bank to the people affected.
Think about it, if every 2nd person in NZ gives as little as $5, thats 10 million to the cause.
Just do it!

Goodness....this is only a year from the big one that hit last April. From what I have seen, the water (Tsunami) damage was equally as devastating. Our hearts are with you.

The British Red Cross is really stepping in to help. Here is their site for anyone who may want to donate or read what they are currently doing:

Man..this is absolutely terrible. I live in Halswell on the city outskirts, and although we were quite badly hit in the Sept quake, this time we have been relatively spared. We have water and power, but looking at the news I feel bloody sorry for all those in the city that are struggling. I have kept away from the main damaged areas but did go out yesterday to check my parent-in-laws property..there was liquifaction everywhere, holes in roads and lots of damage. I just dont know how long its going to take to recover from this one! Heaps of aftershocks which are keeping us awake at nights and keeping the nerves on edge.
