Americans’ Most and Least Favored Nations

"Canada and Great Britain have topped Gallup's country rankings each of the 12 times since 1989 that both countries have been measured, although in most cases Canada has led Great Britain by a few percentage points. The only other country to approach 90% favorability over the years has been Australia"

that poll is from March 3, 2008 and according to it it's
Canada
Great Britain
Australia
I chuckled at one part of that survey saying 12% of Americans had a favorable view of North Korea. I doubt it. The dopes answering that way probably just got it confused with South Korea.

Yeah, but I travel to Canada a good bit on biz. And while 90% of Canadians are open and warm and kind people, and I never have a trip where some Canadian doesn't make some gratuitous swipe at the United States, as if he needs to prove something. I know the difference between snide comments and ribbing, too. I mean, I'm always on good behavior in places like Toronto and Winnipeg. I even say that I like the cold weather.

Meanwhile, Aussies are just downright positive all the time. I've never met an Aussie I didn't like.

Kangaroofarmer, Americans have been known to confuse Australians and Austrians as shown in this hilarious opening to the movie Dumb and Dumber from YouTube.
Ignore the Chinese subtitles:
