I'm just curious; I hear alot that Sydney has spectacular natural beauty. If so, what are people referring to? The Harbor? The Beaches?

Primarily because of its beautiful harbor and beaches. At city street level the city disappoints a bit. It's not Paris for sure and I think I can make a case that the cityscape of Melbourne is nicer despite its inferior situation on the bay.

The fac that it's in Australia!! LOL TBH I love to visit there, but to me it's too crowded, congested, and EXPENSIVE. But it's a fascinating place to see, IMHO. It has a beauty all it's own, from the famed Opera House, to the Zoo, and Harbour Bridge

It's just gorgeous. Climatically it's very pleasant... the Sydney Harbor is gorgeous, Manly, Bondi, Curl Curl, Dee Why, Avalon, etc... all just beautful areas with nice natural scenery and vistas and pleasant climates.

CBD is bloody ugly, full of maddening crowds and has no character at all.
Eastern and northern areas have the best beaches and scenery. The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk is one of the best in the country (I live in Bondi so I'm biased) as well as the Dover Heights to Bondi Beach one though hilly
