How do Aussie women compare to American women personality-wise? (refrigerator, restaurant)

goldfrapp, the American guy, the Old Spice guy is Black! He's not representative of Anglo-American men! White guys in the States are nothing like that! The "hello ladies" vibe you talk about rarely happens in the dominant culture in the US! More often than not what happens is the guys all stand on one side of the room talking together at a party or any social occasion, and the women on the other, and never the twain shall meet. Even if the women go over to where they guys are, to say hello and get something from the refreshment table, nothing happens!
African American men, though, are very engaging, friendly, and fun.

Yeah, I guess we get a lot of African-American men coming through here, and a lot of White American men that are friends with African-American men, so they kind of act like them! You know, the whole "Hey, baby" thing...Haha...Those are just the ones that I've seen here, though.
Also American women seem to be heavily dependent on men for emotional and other feeding. They tend to have high expectations for you to constantly entertain them like a circus act. Aussie women I never felt like they expected to be called or texted every 2 minutes or have to constantly take them out to eat on your dime for a massive feed or buy them tons of stuff to "show your love".
My response: Australian men are CHEAP !!!!
They are clueless when it comes to women !!!!

Hmm, it seems some women want equality, but on their terms,Australian men cheap,nope, remember we have equal pay now so why should the bloke always be reaching for his wallet ?

Autralian women are just normal people like the ones you find generally In europe, latin america, most asia,etc. That means behaving like a person who has the natural desire of social interaction, being sincere and direct for what they really want in life.
American women on the other hand have this overly weird/perverse media-created/manipulated brains that are able to do everything in order to manipulate men in every possible way, playing head games, and being overly shallow and materialistic, surely no other women in the world comes close to what american women have to offer in this aspect. An american women can be below or barely average looking and nothing special personality wise yet they think they all think they deserve a prince just who came out from a fairly tale, who is handsome, rich, famous and have stats (respect from his social circles).

Lisa Lampanelli LOVES them. She's got her reasons. Can't attach a YouTube. It would be R-rated, or worse.
African-Americans, period, were among the friendliest and funniest kids in high school. They said some stuff that, to this day, is quotable and some of their entries in my yearbook were a hoot.

Maybe American men are just a bunch of Leisure suit Larry's who are really suckers. Aussie men don't fall for Sheila's funny business, i.e. 'female charms' .
Wonder if this translates to American women have this sense of entitlement?

While I don't want to undermine the fact that there are indeed classy, respectable women in the U.S. from all demographics, there is a strange, often unsaid (yet always blatanly obvious) sense of gender entitlement amongst many American women (which is much more prominent amongst those who succeed gen X), and far too many American men are willing to play along with the control-freakery that comes with it. Otherwise decent American men, whether they be too afraid or, perhaps, indifferent, are rarely ever willing to assert any control or personal autonomy where their relationships with women are concerned--so many will endlessly tolerate abuses that range across the spectrum from physical abuse to mental torture, and it's utterly disgraceful how unacknowledged this truly is.
And no, I'm not at all disregarding the fact that women are victimized by men in the same fashion--I'm well aware that such things do happen, but probably no more or less than it does in reverse.
But for some reason, though, I wonder if this is really less of a problem in certain other parts of the world (i.e. Canada, UK, Australia) than it is in the United States...
