Maybe Canada can lobby to incorporate it into some sort of "schengen style" border arrangement where Canadians get to visit "their" country without visa requirements. Haaar!

Excellent suggestion! If the Aussies won't return it outright, would be the least they could do to enable visitation ...

Perhaps we could do a swap. You can have Georgetown Queensland and we'll take Big White and Marmot Basin. Sounds fair to me... so how much land do you want to swap? ;-)

I dunno about that. Seems to me Australia filtched the property in question without any provocation or warning. Resolution short of all out war? Hmpf. Perhaps a hockey tournament could settle the issue?
