Default hoping to go to Brisbane

Hi, we are also thinking of Brisbane. Are there any areas that would suit a family with middle/upper school aged children. Which areas/dstricts do people like. Ideally we are looking for a smaller town with middle and upper schools, doctors, dentist, usual things that a family would need/use. Any other advice is much appreciated.
