Is the movie, AUSTRALIA, out yet down under?
If so.. worth it? Oh heck, even if it sucks I am planning to watch it with a bunch of Aussies in NYC. What a better way to eat Tim Tams (at $7 per pack in NY)...

Baz Luhrmann's epic gamble | The Australian

$7 for Tim Tams????????????????????????????

Please tell me it's bigger than a standard pack of 11.

NO - its for the standard pack! I buy it at the "Tuck Shop" in NY on E 1st St/1 Ave. I willingly pay it as it is the only place to buy dark chocolate Tim Tams. However, when I am in Canada I can get regular Tim Tams for 2.50 and Vegemite for 3.50 (7.00 in New York as well) so I suffer with regular Tim Tams. I can also get Coopers Sparkling, still looking for Coopers Ale in both countries..

Oh wow! That's daylight robbery!!!

Are you sure you can't get them cheaper in bulk online?

I did try to send some to friends in the US a while back and was informed by Australia Post that I couldn't but then I've heard of other people that have been able to send them so I'm really confused about the status of sending them from here.

That's what got me hunting for an online store that supplies them. I know there is at least one that sells Australian goods. Could you google them mini?

Oh and as for the movie, it seems like every time I turn on the tv there's another ad for Baz Lurhmman's Australia. I really doubt it will live up to all the hype but I'm looking forward to seeing it anyway.

Imo, the movie looks awful. It probably wouldn't bother me so much if the name of the movie wasn't so silly.

I like it! I just might go all the way to Oz to see it.
AUSTRALIA

Heck, I might as well try the Tim Tams while I'm at it.

The fact that it's been called "Australia!". Does make me think, That we could be in for a long form Tourism Ad!....Rather than a movie?

I have a soft spot for Aussie movies and I really do want to go to see it! (Even if it turns out to be abit rubbish?)

Careful now! Keep up with the cheeky and you'll be getting cheese and vegemite sangers for lunch too!

But sure, I'll go to the movie with you , EVEN though it completely ignores the bombing of Broome! We can go see it at Village Gold Class and have choc tops and Twisties!
