/\ I would not wish a Fosters on my worst enemy or an unfriendly Alien!
I've had Fosters brewed by Molson of Canada, and it's delightful; mild yet has some flavour, but not a "light beer".
Never had a chance to try an imported Fosters though.
I have had imported Castlemine XXXX from South Australia and was surprised that it's actually quite "watery" or "light", reminicent of mainstream American beers... though with a tiny bit more flavour. It's a small step up from Budweiser, Miller, Coors etc., but not worth paying the "imported price" while in Canada, imho.
jacqs.. we can banter but please don't insult my beloved Coopers! I crave its yeasty goodness.
Insult?? I was trying to be complementary! Y'know, you can just mix yeast powder with water and stick some mud in it; same result but cheaper.
I'm running away now!
