Hi oldguy,

I'm an American-trained cardiologist and a dual US-Australian citizen. I'm looking to spend 1-2 years working down under. What's the best way to find a good job? Thanks in advance.

Hi ssm4-- well, I'm probably the wrong guy to ask.. I'm ABEM Emergency Med., and I'm working with Queensland Health directly right now to get the lay of the land. There does seem to be a lot of opportunity, tho' as you've read here, QLDH has had it's share of problems in the recent past...I'd Google them and speak with a recruiter directly..it does seem to be somewhat Specialty dependent.. Best! o.g.
