Heard about this from contacts in Singapore (they were offered the visa even though they have never been to Australia). Lots of questions about this. For starters:
Does anyone know if this program is ongoing?
What does it entail?
Does it include a job or just the visa?

Thats the 457 visa, (google it) basically its for Australian employers who cant find local people to fill jobs. So they look overseas to fill the vacancy. To get it you need an Australian employer sponsor.
Its being abused quite badly by some people, getting people from places like vietnam and the Philippines, and paying them well below normal wages.
