The way you stalled for no reason. Good job.

Even though it allowed JJ to win , at least it wasn't a Toyota taking the checkers.

Kind of feel bad for Ambrose. He made a stupid mistake.

Overall though, Sonoma was a pretty good race on Sunday.

Jeff Gordon wasn't making any new friends, but at least he manned up and said spinning Truex was stupid.

Poor guy, I too felt bad from him. He said he was told to save fuel and cut off the engine. I hop e he wins next week, but we all know this was his best chance.

Why was he saving fuel?? He pitted at lap 80, one lap after Jimmy. He had the most fuel of all the drivers on the lead lap...Ridiculous!!
Even if it went GWC * 3 that woulda been 36 laps on that tank. Still WELL within the fuel range. It was a dumb a$$ mistake by someone who doesn't run up front. Hopefully he'll learn @ watkins glenn.

and you are absolutely sure that he got a full load of fuel? as i recall he was told to save fuel. i have seen many times when the jack is dropped sooner than expected, and the tank doesnt get quite full. remember these guys weigh the dump cans after they fuel the cars so they can calculate the fuel mileage these cars are getting.

You know Ambrose wanted to win that race so badly. He was probably shaking in his seat from being so nervous, trying NOT to make a mistake.

The guy had a 4-time champ on his butt.

Talk about the stress.

It's shame for Ambrose as he really seems like a cool dude. That first win must really feel good for those guys!
