NASCAR surely knows this, and will make certain JJ does not win it again this year..............at least one can hope anyway!

JJ may win it again, but I sure hope not. I'm still hoping Jeff will somehow find what he needs to take on JJ before the end of this season. His pit crew was awesome Sunday (11.8 - wow). Even though Jeff made the speeding mistake on pit row, he railed back from 26th to 9th. That's pretty good.

The top 5 all have a chance to take it, but I think it will come down to JJ, Stewart and Gordon. (All Hendrick muscle, btw.)

As for Kyle, he's already preparing for Daytona in Feb. Too bad...he should have apologized to the 00 team for wrecking David. Maybe he will learn from this...again.

Jayski's likes to track the old system, here it is after Fontana:

5) #18-Kyle Busch, 3951, -361
6) #99-Carl Edwards, 3938, -374
7) #11-Denny Hamlin, 3919, -393
8) #31-Jeff Burton, 3886, -426
9) #2- Kurt Busch, 3850, -462
10) #17-Matt Kenseth, 3778, -534

I wonder if NASCAR thinks the "Chase" was a good decision now?

Even fans who don't want to see JJ win a fifth straight, cannot be amazed on this guys driving ability. I was watching the pre-race Saturday, and I think it was Brad D that said Tony Stewart was the best driver on the planet. At one time he may have been, but seriously, there is no current driver in any pro racing series as good as Jimmie is right now.

Every race I hope that the "golden horseshoe" will fall out of JJ's or Chad's rears, but it never does. But it's just not luck...it's mostly skill and team work. JJ's improbable comeback on Saturday just proves that JJ's driving skills and Chad's technical skills are light years ahead of the rest of the field.

As much as I would like to see another person win the championship JJ can infact drive and he drives amazingly well! If he wins he deserves it. In my opinion it is the "team" work with JJ success! Knaus is a big part of these wins and he is not my favorite person! The entire team clicks and that makes winners! Golfers are about the only people who win on their own! The chase is no more then a gimic to try to compete with the NFL. The same drivers are and will be the same guys who have been at the top all year long usually. Sure I would love to see "Smoke" or "Jamie McMurray" win but it most likely won't be this year maybe next year. Although I don't watch the races as much as I use to (the announcers drive me nuts) I do still enjoy just seeing how the drivers can drive--and win! I am not a fan of Kyle Bush but that boy can drive! He has an attitude but he will eventually win a championship once he grows up--he is doing better this year--most of the time! People are going to watch the races, maybe not as many as years ago but it isn't going to fall apart. It didn't when Petty and Earnhardt won 7 champships. Sure those races wern't all in a row but hey, you have to admire JJ even if you don't like him! This is all just my "personal" opinion here.
Another thought--how many times has the NY Yankee's won the world series?? People still watch them!

Looks like the Rangers may have a say in that. Cliff Lee was awesome.

Now, back to the five time champ (only 23 more to go to surpass NYY), Jimmie Johnson...
