Who wants to venture guesses on the drop in attendance and TV ratings for next season?
Under your analogies, NASCAR is DEAD, the NFL is DEAD. I'm looking for you to kill off MLB and the NBA in the next couple of days.

Lookout BCS, your next!!

I just want to know how long NASCAR plans on playing the "it's the economy" card before they realize that it's the product and/or the Chase that is hurting their cause. Oh and the same winner over and over and over and over.
It is the economy. If you didn't notice, attendance is down everywhere.

NFL: NFL: Attendance likely to fall for third straight season in 2010, to lowest level since 1998 - The Huddle: Football News from the NFL - USATODAY.com

MLB:MLB Attendance Down For Third Straight Year

NCAA Basketball: Average NCAA men's basketball attendance takes fall - USATODAY.com

I get the feeling you just like to hear yourself complain.

OK, enough about NASCAR's demise, that topic is for another thread. Or the many others that KD95 has started on the subject.

As for the top three chase contenders, it will come down to Hamlin and Johnson.

Phoenix is where Johnson shines and Homestead is where Hamlin has done well. May turn out to be a nail biter.

As long as Harvick performs well at Phoenix, he could be there to capitalize in Homestead in case something major happens to the top two.

Now who has the pressure on them? Harvick was right about the 11 team. If you talk the talk, you better walk the walk.

Well the 11 team took a big step and fell flat on their collective faces!!

Now the four time champ is calling out the 11 team and telling them to bring it on. All of the pressure is on the 11 team now and I don't think they can handle it.

Miami is a great track for Hamlin. I think 29's too far back. He's still in control of his own destiny. Yesterday wasn't a fall on my face day for them, they led most laps, had the best car. Sometimes pit stops don't play your way, its a calculated risk.

Take that same risk if JJ runs out of fuel > the Chase is over.

GO DENNY!!!!

After Phoenix and with one to go, I'm sticking with my original pick.

why is this race on at 1ET competing against like 12 NFL games (easily most popular sport telecast in the country) when they could schedule Sat. Night (worst night for t.v.) or Sunday night when they're only competing against 1 NFL game?

just a thought......
