Are you a fan of NASCAR?

1. Drive 200 MPH
2. Slow down
3. Turn left
4. Repeat 500 times

You can probably guess that I'm not.

Yes!!!!!!!!!! Just like my wife's brother who lives close to Daytona. Bring on those speedy cars, the Green Flag, Caution Flag, Stop Flag and the Checkered Flag and let's PARTY!!!!!!!
We will get a lot of NASCAR when we make our move to Charlotte, NC.
Hey, some folks hate football (what????), golf (can only watch that on TV), tennis, baseball (what.....people don't like Ballpark dogs and Coors Light???) and some other sports.
But, NASCAR......"Gentlemen Start Your Engines".....what an announcement.

Oh yes! Bring on the engine noise!

I remember listening to the races on the radio back in the days when they were not all on TV.

I will watch practice, qualifying, rain delay re-runs of previous races. My husband does not get it. I can't get him to sit in the same room with me when the race is on.

Never got into car racing, but I love listening to baseball on the radio.

Though you can actually see Loews Motor Speedway when the leaves are off of the trees from my subdivision, I'm not a fan. I respect it as a sport and love what it brings to our economy, but it just doesn't interest me or my family. About the only sports we're fans of are basketball and football.

I'm a fan big time. Been watching since early 70's when you got an ocassional race on TV. It's a great get together here in my small town. Usually the 2 local bars have breakfast for the fans that come in and watch the race. I usually have the race on TV, and listen to the in car radios on the computer...at the same time, if I'm at home.

Some folks don't like the sport of rodeo at all, BUT, during the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas in Dec., the Thomas Mack Center is sold out each and every night of the performance. And, there are big rodeo's all across the U.S. where the stands get 100% filled.
My wife and I love rodeo, why? I am a former Team Roper in the pro ranks. Good enough answer???
But, since there are a lot of anti-rodeo people out there, I definitely don't want to start a Forum "War", so please, not to many "anti" comments about the sport that we still support (and always will).
