and bring back Alan Bestwick. Next to Mike Joy, he's the best in the business.

Gotta disagree about Bestwick, but Joy is just that to listen to during a race.

He brings money to the sport being a co-owner, and he is pretty knowledgeable of the sport.

Too bad he doesn't show it. The guys adds ZILCH that any outsider couldn't figure out for themselves.

Agreed! Bestwick seems to get stepped on and given poor assignments, but he is one of the best with the microphone in this sport. Mike Joy is a pure auto enthusiast and fun to listen too. I love his Barrett-Jackson reporting too!

All I can say is, it's about time

"Starting with next weekend’s Brickyard 400, Allen Bestwick will take over as the regular play-by-play voice of ESPN’s Cup Series broadcasts. He replaces Marty Reid who will continue to do the Nationwide and IndyCar races."

While I do like Bestwick I really didn't see anything wrong with Reid.

I like them all except for MW. Too much of a NASCAR cheerleader.
