Yeah, Baby!!
I wish they'd kill the restrictor plates so they were actually making 800HP at Daytona
Ihave to say after watchig some of the 24hrs raqce ;I am excited to see daytona this year. I actaully just started watchig NACAR after years of waqtching other racing . My wife even loves it. Other than that its MotoGP and some Sedan series for meas I love the actual racing often missing now days with highdown force in mnay racing series.
I like it also, but you have to laugh heartily that regenerative braking is back. These are race cars that get 4 mpg average. So we are saving the world's fuel supply with regen. braking? Only the FIA and Bernie Ecclestone could bring that nonsense back again. They claim they looking for ways to reduce the cost of the sport? In need of a brain transplant anyone?
Fridaqy nite shoulf be interestign to see how the track has changed for the teams.O F1 I might go when the track is in austin but really not that interested except to see the cars as racing where the top four only pass i the pits turned me off a few years ago to actual racing.
Great to see Dale Jr win the pole for the 500 (and the Shootout). Maybe his Daddy is looking down and Jr's luck will change. I know there are a lot of Jr haters out there, but I for one would like to see the guy get a few wins this year.

Almost forgot to give 'props' to my boy Jeff Gordon on starting on the front row with Jr!
Of course it doesn't matter much where you start in the 500.
As long as your the third place driver coming out of turn four on the last lap, then you have a pretty good chance to win.
Yep last straightaway as long as you still have an engine. I thought last years 500 was bad, thinking this one will top it. Now there even tinkering with the restrictor size and the radiators. With 6 days to go, still making changes! Gonna spell disaster...
