No, the town I live in fortunately is not like this. The County owns Citrus County Speedway and it's been running 50+ years. It's a lot harder to get a track shut down due to noise when the government owns it, although they do have to abide by their own County noise ordinance law (11pm) if it's a 50 lap feature and your in the lead on lap 30 @ 10:59 pm, you just won the race.

I never did understand the concept of the track is there first, developer build homes near it and people move in 10-20 years later and then want it shut down due to noise. Simple solution.........don't by a house near the racetrack in the first place, dumbarse homeowners.
