...but NASCAR decided long ago to curb that action and rule-changed everything. Yes, I am kidding...sorta.

But I thought Kyle Busch was 3rd overall...I mean 97 wins is 97 wins, right?

Dont you just hate when the children change the game rules. But they have to keep fans wondering. (drivers too) I guess that old saying goes ( someone in corporate must keep their job so, they have to come up with some idea rather good or bad to make them look like they are working for the money they get for that high paying job) My family decided that we are just cheering our drivers on week to week for the season of racing and not think about the one who wins the chase( even thou we want one of our driver to win)

If you were to include all NASCAR sanctioned tracks the scene would be quite different

No doubt. He may have not lived up to his billing in Cup, but he is a race car driver in the purest of the essence.

I agree with you on that one.

I keep wondering what the missing piece is in the Sprint cup. Kyle has all the talent in the world and should have one a championship by now.

Kyle is more fun to watch when he is wearing the "black hat". I like seeing him go toe to toe with the likes of Harvick and Edwards.

Congratulations to Jeff Gordon on his 85th Cup win. (BTW, the last few laps of the Atlanta race was awesome to watch, with 4-time and 5-time going against each other...) Jeff is now third all time.

Does Jimmie Johnson have any chance of catching and passing Jeff? (Jimmie has 54 Cup wins). BTW, Kyle has 23 Cup wins (tied with his brother Kurt).
