IRP at least some short track excitement, personally I think that would be more of a fun race than IMS for the cup guys. But I doubt that NASCAR would take a race away from "famed" IMS.

Part of me thinks this is an attempt by NASCAR to prop up the Brickyard 400 to justify its existence on the schedule. If attendance continues to decline even with the added events, the race should be dropped by after 2014. 20 years for this pathetically overhyped event is about 15 years too many.
