My opinion--only my opinion--as long as NASCAR got their money they are happy---I don't think they care about anything else!

I'll be there doing my part booing the Shrub.

This is not the first tiem a team has failed inspections. Inspection iIMO;is the job of the nascar officals. What would happen if they fined anohter smaller team on equal basis for failing. That team could very well be elimnated form being able to compete. It happens all the time in other racing sport. Otherwise they would not inspect.I thnik it would be beter if you presented a car that did not pass to elminate you from that race.

yea, seems kind of odd to fail inspection and then go ahead and race anyway.. Obviously the inspection failures of recent memory are typically minor infractions that NASCAR likely is not even sure how they might effect the car during the race but forcing a team to sit out a race, similar to failing to qualify would certainly cut back crew chiefs trying to push the envelope..
