Longest continuous sponsorship, in any form of racing?

40 years with Quaker State, as his main sponsor, and you have NEVER heard of him.

So, who is this "Iron Man " ?

A Canadian, 66 year old Gary Elliott, from Waterdown, Ontario.

This coming year, 2013, will be his 40th year of continous racing on oval tracks in southern Ontario, with Quaker State as his enduring sponsor.

I don't think that there is any other driver, in any type or class of racing, that can beat this record.

here is the link to Gary's website, at Elliott Racing.

Welcome to the Elliott Racing Team Home Page

Oh and by the way, both his son David, and Grandson , Gherig, race as well.

Take a look and see what a really dedicated racer looks like.

Jim B

Toronto.
