IMO, Hendrick pecking order,(Ricks favorites)
KK
JJ
Jr.
JG
I don't agree with the pecking order. I belive that Rick and Jeff have a very close (father/son) type of relationship. I could see Jeff taking over HMS when Rick retires.

If the Chase hadn't been implemented, Jeff would have had his five championships. That's just one part of the many reasons I don't watch much anymore.

Being 12th in the standings was never a big deal until 9 years a go.

No it isn't. Gordon is still fast and he has alot to do with why that team is fast.I guess the same could have been said about Earnhart when Gordaon appeared on scene and JR would have been gone from the team before last year.

Its like most athletes after several years, the fire in the belly just isn't as hot.

Perhaps he has ran out of LUCK. Geez, he was leading yesterday and got a flat that took him out of the race. That seems to be a common theme for Gordon the last few years.. he has a good if not great car and bad luck bites him in the arse!

While taking just 2 tires gave Jeff the track position and leader, I just don't think it was a good decision and not because his tire blew due to wear either.

With just possibly one more pit to make Jeff would have had to take 4 tires, while everyone else may have taken 2. So Jeff would have been in the middle of the pack towards the end of the race. No chance to contend for the lead.

Although I do agree that Jeff needs some better luck, he just plain wore that tire off, which is why it blew.

Current Points Standings:

2 - Jr
3 - JJ
7 - KK
21- JG

it seems to me that everyone who blew a right front tire yesterday, took left side tires on the previous pit stop. that tells me that bristol is tough on right side tires. of course it always has been.
