I don't agree about Gordon. I think he has the desire. Lotta this and that this year has prevented him from winning but not heart.

48/24 swap would be interesting but JJ deserves better and it would never happen - unless he said do it of course.

It did happen before, when Gordon was out of the title run and the 24 team swapped with the 48 for the last two races. Johnson went on to win the Championship.

There were also rumors of an 88/48 swap for the rest of this season.

Seriously doubt if it will happen. If anything, the 48 team should be working very closely with the 88 which is easy since they are together but also the 24.

JGR and SHR are going to be tough to beat this year.

Wasn't it just the team? Not the crew chief, and it was because the 48 team was slow and making terrible mistakes in the pits. I agree it's probably a moot point since JGR looks impossible to beat.

It was just the pit crew, and I think it was just certain members of the pit crew.

Swapping crew chiefs would be a horrible idea.. It takes time for a driver/crew chief combo to get on the same page, and that's not something that you want to have happen in the middle of the chase.

Congrats to Joe-E Logano. @ Charlotte
The Win plus best burnout ever. I don't even like burnouts but that was killer.

I don't like Logano, but that was a killer burnout. Did you all see the fan throwing a beer can, assumingly, at him?

that was a racing incident, carl had a run, and jr came down. however jr is not out of the chase yet, he is only 19 points out of the transfer spot, anything can happen over the next two races, just ask kyle busch and kevin harvick.
