It was on for two hours at 10:00 Pacific time on ABC.

However, because another car (two others also did earlier in the week) spun and took off flying during morning practice, they decided to change the rules. Because of this the two hours were spent practicing with the new rules.

Qualifying was then to be on ESPN News starting at noon. I don't get this channel on my DirecTV, I haven't even heard of it, so I don't know what happened.

I had never heard of that station either. I found it available online here with no charge via my Comcast account. It was live and is now available in the replay mode. I hope those who missed it can utilize the link.

You may need to access it from this page. Watch Live Sports Events and ESPN Programs Online and on Mobile Applications - WatchESPN

I couldn't find it so didn't watch. That's certainly no way to gets fans to watch, playing whack-a-mole with channels no ones heard of or watch.
