Hey I said my reasoning was debatable! No snob here but more tracks in the south would be good.

So Tony Stewart deliberately wrecked Ryan Newman tonight, and this time it was even more blatant than last week. I like him, but NASCAR needs to sit his ass down for 2-3 races before he hurts someone.

Loved the interview with Newman, that was certainly to the point. Looks like good ol' Smoke is having a flashback to his younger years as a complete D-Bag...
I have no problem with a drivers settling things between themselves BUT when it causes injury/damage/$$$$ to other uninvolved persons, that is unacceptable.

I don't understand why the media people keep fawning over Stewart. Jr. yes because he is likeable but not Stewart he has caused more crashes than just about anybody but all he does is cry about other drivers.
His retirement can't come soon enough.

Probably the same day Newman becomes unemployed and will take hack rides as he fades into oblivion. Regardless of how we feel about what transpired on the track, he crossed a line last night in the interview.

Scott might have had to grovel a little because of his rookie status but Newman is no rookie.
I will admit I was surprised at what Newman said but I am also tired of Stewart being treated like some type of institution in NASCAR. He blocks and get furious about blocking. He wrecks others and claims they deserved it. He goes from obnoxious to heartwarming interviews. I won't miss him driving next season.

Neither will all the fab techs from innocent bystander teams that have have to fix the destruction in Tony's wake.

I missed all the action. What did Newman say?

But yeah, Tony is a crybaby that only sees other peoples mistakes however so is Newman. The human chicane doesn't have much room to whine.

Newman went scorched earth on him. He referenced Tony's anger issues, called him bipolar, made a thinly-veiled reference to the death of Kevin Ward, Jr, and said he needs to retire if that's how he's gonna drive.
