Exclusive: Carl Edwards won

Seems it's not health related.. "Interests outside of driving"..

Still kinda wonder if his wife is ill or something like that.

odd.. doesn't seem like cousin Carl has been around that long but 2004 was a while ago! Still odd to see someone walk away at the top of his game..

I always liked the "3"..........Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, and Greg Biffle

They were all younger once and racing for Roush

Good memories !

It is still Carl Edwards so what we get will still be a PC totally wrapped up public relations package.

We may never know the real reason he pulled the plug.

This short clip was done on Dec.12th. What changed?

Mind blowing news from someone with so much potential left in the tank.

Not a fan of JGR, but really hate to hear this. I had thought that Carl would eventually be a great fit at Hendrick one day, but he is approaching an age where skills start to diminish.

Reigning NASCAR XFINITY Series champion Daniel Suarez looks to be ready to get in the 99 car.

Supposedly he's going to talk about his plans at the news conference tomorrow. Or at least provide some insight.

He's 37 years old.. Still in his prime. With minimal argument, there's no better ride that he could move to. If he was unhappy at JGR.. They'd grant him a release. They've done it before. They gave Bobby Labonte and Tony Stewart releases.

I'm damn curious to hear his reasoning here.
