Nascar has the whiniest fans?! Guess this guy's never watched or heard about a little league we call the NFL.

I am now one of those fans you see on TV every week disguised as an empty seat.

BTW if anybody is tired of my complaints TFB
The drivers coalition is going to pay his fine.. But.. Yeah.. This is something that needed to be spoken up about. Teams only gluing 4 lugnuts per tire.. A tire comes off a Bristol, not that big a deal.. One comes flying off at 'dega, Michigan, Atlanta or similar.. Not only is that a driver safety issue, but a fan safety issue.

Bristol.. You know, I think the racing since the resurfacing and all has been a 1000% improvement. Some of us look back with nostalgia at the '95 and '99 Labonte/Earnhardt finishes, and they were great.. But what set that up? The fact that you couldn't pass on the high side. There was no racing, just bump and run.

Aaaaand sometimes even when you can pass, the bump-and-run still comes into play.

BTW.. I think, if he didn't have the sponsorship tied to him, that HScott would be considering dumping Bowyer. I've been reading some of his comments and.. They're very Busch-like. Totally out of character for Bowyer.

Quote:
I've never been with such a (expletive) unprepared (expletive) team in my life," Bowyer replied via team radio. "It's a (expletive) joke. No power steering. (Expletive) put this in the truck and go home.
That team has gone downhill since Finch got out. I always thought when Finch owned it, they were just a solid sponsor/driver combo away from being a good team. When Finch had a good sponsor (Miccosucci or whatever that casino/tribe was) he was using past-their-prime and rookie drivers.. Then, they left and he got steady drivers, but no good sponsors.. They were much like Furniture Row Racing, they just didn't pull it off.

Rant over.
I think our Toyota was built in Kentucky. Did they secede again?

No, but they still speak a foreign language there.

Congrats to Carl.
I know he was the reason that he could not win with Roush but since coming over to Gibbs he finally learned how to drive.

There's a circle around the real reason Edwards couldn't win before

I know he had about 20 wins before moving to Gibbs but he was really a lousy driver back then and the only reason he won was because Roush was cheating.

Some probably think he is still a lousy driver but I think it's something else.

Then you have those fans that are clueless like the one I quoted.

RFR is starting to remind me more and more of RYR.

Yates had Irvan and Jarrett.. Then replaced Irvan with Rudd.. Which was still an excellent decision.. Then replaced Rudd with Sadler... Not horrible.. Then replaced Sadler with Gilliland.. Not good.. Then Jarrett left and they brought Rudd back, who was past his prime by this time.. Then they started running teams just to run teams.. The whole Hall of Fame merger, Menard.. Travis Kvapil as the top driver on the team..

That team is on a downward spiral and needs a top tier driver to stop it.
